St. Andrew's Golf Club, The Saint Andrew’s members play on a superb Jack Nicklaus signature golf course laid out on the same rolling Westchester County site to which the club moved in 1897. In explaining the philosophy behind his design, Nicklaus said, "I must think back to the way they’d build a course at the turn of the century, visualize that and then try to build that vision to modern standards."
The course is 6,670 yards long, has a course rating of 73.6 and plays to a slope of 145 from the championship tees and 71.4 and 142 from the member tees. Incidentally, "tee times" are never required at Saint Andrew’s.
One of the most appealing aspects of The Saint Andrew’s Golf Club is its close proximity to New York City. Saint Andrew’s is located near the quaint river town of Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. It’s also just about twenty minutes from the George Washington Bridge, the Governor Malcolm Wilson/Tappan Zee Bridge and Fairfield County.

| Description |
| This course has very difficult greens to read because of their severe undulations. The fairways vary in length and width. The signature hole is #16, a 176-yard, par 3. This club was originally located in Yonkers, New York, and is listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. It also received mention in "GOLF Magazine's" 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America." The course has been redesigned by William H. Tucker (1900), who was the greenskeeper for a time at this club, Morris Poucher (1920), the English duo of James Braid and John R. Stutt (1930), and Jack Nicklaus in 1983. |
